Chapter 21

• I was in and out of consciousness, my mind floating in an abyss, but it was hard to ignore this feeling in my bones. The sparks that only one person could ignite, and I perked up, wanting to open my eyes to see him.
• “Toby?” I groaned, raising my hands to touch his face to trace the line on his face, but he held my hands, the sparks growing with each second that passed, and he intertwined our hands together.
• “Shhh, I am here; you just need to rest.”
