Chapter 34

  • I woke up just a bit before sunset. I sat up in bed and realized I was alone, the house sounded empty. No sound at all, no screeching doors, no dripping faucets, silence. Complete silence. Aiden kept his house in tiptop shape. It was really impressive, but not at this moment. Right now it just felt like a void trying to consume me whole if I continued to sit here alone. Before I could get up, a series of memories rushed through my mind. Memories of earlier when Aiden had his hands all over my body, when his embrace felt like something more, a connection of souls.
  • And then I remembered what he whispered to me, he said something about my love not being enough but he also wanted my desire. What was that supposed to mean. Didn't I already desire him? Or maybe he meant he has always wanted me to be brazen and bold. I saw it as being shameless.
  • I got out of bed and went on to look for something to wear. Maybe also go looking for Aiden. The moon was almost out and thinking about it made me anxious. Tonight I was going to be with the one I love, the father of my pups. It seemed more and more ridiculous to me why people would think Aiden was a bad person, earlier he said he wouldn't mate me because he was afraid of hurting it. Isn't that funny.
