Chapter 102

• I did have enough money to find myself an apartment after all. I wouldn't say it was the best kind but I would have to do. The apartments were located just outside the city so these parts weren't as busy as you'd find the city. Though the neighborhood didn't look like the best of places to be, I thought the local people looked friendly enough.
• Besides it was the only place that I could find that had at least nice hygiene standards. I didn't like trolling my pups into buildings that looked like they had multiple murder cases waiting to be solved. Mostly the part where that unsanitary man showed me an apartment and it smelled of decay. Human corpse decay. This was a safer choice.
• Before finding the apartment, I had found me a lodging house that charged me fairly for a night. At the time, I didn't know that this was a special kind of lodging house. Its why I had to find an apartment just soon after the sun rose.
