Chapter 30

• After finding out that I was pregnant, Aiden couldn't help but be more possessive about me and the baby. He kept on saying that he couldn't afford to lose me again or the baby.
• I found his possessiveness cute at first, there would be stuff like, "don't go outside its too hot for the baby" and I would laugh at his silly behavior. I would also tease him about how the tulips in the garden are going to swallow the pup and keep it in their bulb! At this he would get all serious and possessively flip me over his shoulder and lock me up in our bedroom.
• But I still had a lingering fear about my mother and what she did to me. She was still out there, what if she came for my baby again? I sensed that my husband felt the same way and maybe his concern wasn't misplaced after all.
