Chapter 83 Conflict 2

• His lips hovered just a fraction of an inch above hers, and his eyes peered right through her. Her eyes were bright with a litany of enquiries and demands. Before she could work up the courage to resist the growing intimacy, his mouth had already claimed hers. It was reassuring and warm rather than devastating or overpowering.
• The moment his tongue grazed across her lips, they opened up on their own, which enabled him to go in for a more passionate kiss. He moved slowly into her mouth, putting his tongue in and taking it out as he rubbed it sensuously against hers until she began to do the same. His hands slid down her neck, one pausing at her nape so that he could weave his fingers into her hair, and the other travelling slowly down and pausing at her breasts so that he could twitch them to keep them firm and painfully aware of him. He did this in alternating motions. Her breasts were aching for his touch. He continued to kiss her until she sighed and pressed herself further into him. He wanted to get her attention, so he changed his behaviour just a little to see if she would keep looking for him after he gave her a little of a break. He let out a moan as she inched closer to him by drawing one of her hands up his body to clasp his shoulder and drawing herself in closer.
• She could access his mouth, so she inserted her tongue into his mouth and stroked his tongue in the same way that he had stroked hers. She would flick her tongue over his teeth, pull his lower lip into her mouth, and then chew on it to satisfy her craving. Although she was supposed to be the one who started it, her kiss made him starve and unleashed the beast within him. Once more, he showed he was in charge of the kiss by angling his mouth over hers and taking over. His hand moved away from her breast to wrap possessively around her, causing him to exert an even greater amount of pressure on her.
