Chapter 42 Trust Issues

• He blinked. "Help me?" The contact of her touch to his flesh made him tremble with need. "You mean with your dad ?"
• She nodded. There was no going back at this point. She had already made up her mind, and now there was no turning back. "I will help you get revenge."
• It was unusual to see him in such a state, his face contorted with the misery he was feeling. His whimpers had been what roused her from her sleep. Initially, she believed that they were all a part of his dream. The whimpers evolved into sobbing, emotions that were all too familiar. She could not help it and reached out to calm him by touching his arm.
