Chapter 26

• The week had finally come for Malachi, his parents, and some of their pack members to arrive. At the front of the house, Dawn and her parents were standing waiting to greet their guests. Dawn had to pull on this big act that everything was ok, but deep down, she was feeling the hurt and pain of everything that she had to endure in her life as of now; the worst part was having to let Logan go. With that, she wishes she could have parted with him on good terms; from time to time, she kept wondering how he was doing? Just as she kept on thinking, “They are here” Dawn was broken out of her thoughts when she heard her father spoke, and she looked ahead and saw some SUVs was pulling up in front of the house.
• Once the cars had parked, the pack warriors got out of the first truck, and then the second truck was Malachi and his parents. Once out of the vehicle, they walked up, Dawn and her parents had greeted them with a bow, and then the Lunas hugged each other while the alphas pat each other on the back, Dawn gave Malachi a big hug with a smile, and Malachi gave a slight smirk as well. From there, everyone went inside the packhouse Dawn showed Malachi the room that he was staying when inside, they both were silent until Malachi spoke: “Dawn, I miss you; how have you been?”
