Chapter 8

• “I knew it was something about those fucking wolves. They behind this,” Logan said, pointing at them. As Logan stared and watched all the terrifying pack members, suddenly his eyes caught the three men who came to his pack a week ago; they were standing looking at Logan dead in his eyes. If looks could kill, they suddenly will have killed Logan in a split second. He alerted his father as he, beta, and gamma stood at his side and try to figure out a plan.
• Eugene mind links Lina, “Baby, what I’m going to need for you to do is to gather all the women, children, and run into the house and head to the hideout, all the men will distract these rouges.”
• “Ok, got it,” she mumbled.
• Eugene mind linked all the males and told them what to do, and most of all, show them no mercy. They all nodded; before they could make a move, more wolves showed up were attacking people; one rouge that was black and white had grabbed hold of James. He is one of Logan's male pack members; within minutes, James had torn the rouge from limb to limb as blood began gusting everywhere.
• Logan, Julian, and Simone had shifted and ran into the crowd; once running, Logan saw who they were from the scent, the three male wolves. Logan wasted no time running toward them. He was on a mission with full rage immediately; Logan had stampeded the middle wolf, tackled him down, took a bite out of his throat, and clawed him in the face; the wolf howled in pain while taking his last breath.
• The other two wolves were light brown, and the other one was black and white. In a circle trying to measure up to Logan, the black and white one suddenly decided and attempted to go in for the kill by grabbing Logan's front paw and nabbing a little at it. Logan let out a sigh growl before using his free paw and claw the wolf in the face, making him lose his grip on the foot, and from there, Logan could get top of him and bit down his throat, and started dragging him. The other wolf tries to seek from behind; out of nowhere, Julian jump on the wolf and rips into his back with his canines, making the wolf cry out in pain until Julian goes for the back of his neck, yanking his head from his body. Once done, he headed over to Logan, where he finished killing the wolf; they gave each other a nod. Logan mind-linked Julian.
• “Hey, where is Simone at?” Logan asked.
• “I don’t know. We got separated. I’m a little worried, but I know she can take care of herself,” Julian said.
• “These mother fuckers keep coming; there are a lot of our members that are hurt. I need to find my dad,” Logan responded.
• “Same here, we got to try and help everyone; we need to split up, Logan I feel this will be the only way to find them,” Julian replied.
• Logan nodded, and they both headed in a different direction; While Logan was running, he could hear the howls of some of his pack members, which made him more furious with rage, that he grabbed a wolf from behind and dragged him down to the ground and he rip the wolf to pieces. He did not stop there; Logan took down three more as well. Finally, Logan tracked down his father and mother; they are at the far left side of the woods, and her mink links his father.
• “Dad, are you and mom, ok?”
• “We find son; we just got to keep fighting.”
• “Ok, did you see Mitchell? Julian is trying to find him, to make sure that he and his mother are ok” Logan utters.
• “I haven’t seen him since this battle begins; we all got separated once the attack broke out.” Eugene implies.
• “How is mom doing,” Logan asked.
• “Son, you know me, and your mom got this; this isn’t our first battle.”
• “Ok, dad, I’m trying to help out the others and came over to you where I can.”
• “Son doesn’t worry about us; help out as many as you can.”
• “I sure will, dad” Logan ended the mind link and ran out to help as many as he could, which it was turning out to be successful, but out of nowhere, there was a wolf that tackles Logan with full force that causes them to roll on the ground farther away from the fight. When they got up, Logan saw that it was a dark brown wolf with amber color eyes; in seconds, they both collided with each other it bringing on an impact force of power that threw each wolf a few yards back from the other.
• Once Logan has risen and is dashing the wolf when another wolf strikes him from the side deep with his claws, Logan lowers his head, whimpering in pain. Within a second Logan sinks his teeth deep into the wolf's neck; as the wolf howl from his pain in a matter minutes, Logan takes his front paws and crawls at the wolf's face, killing the wolf immediately. From there, Logan tried to get up, but he could not get up right away; as Logan checked on his side and noticed that he was bleeding out, he knew that he did not get the medical treatment and would bleed out and die.
• “Logan, I’m going to take over; since we both are hurt, I think I might be strong enough to get us some help,” Phoenix stated.
• With all, their might Phoenix was able to gain the strength to get up, and once he was up, his eyes became dark blue, and the other wolf saw the anger in his eyes and took off running in another direction. Phoenix was trying his best to make it back to the battle; each time he attempted to make a move, the pain became worse, and it sank in deeper. Once they were beginning to get closer, they started to see stars, which Phoenix was trying to fight immediately; darkness came and took over.
