Chapter 7

• A week later, Logan was training some of the older wolves; then suddenly, Logan noticed three unknown males walking in his direction, accompanied by one female in the pack. Logan turned around and faced the children before saying,
• “Class is over for today; we will resume tomorrow” the children nodded and went separate ways. Once they were gone, Logan walked towards the female and the three unknown males. “Hey Shelia, how are you today? Logan asks.
• “I’m fine, Logan, what’s up?” Sheila responds.
• “Nothing, just finishing up training. So who are they?” Logan question.
• “Oh, they are new to the pack; they just got here today,” Sheila told him.
• While standing there, Logan observed the three men; as he looked on, he felt that something was not right with them, but before
• Logan thought more about it; he remembers his father telling him, “judge no one in their past.” So, Logan approaches them and responds, “Hi, my name is
• Logan Winchester, welcome to The River Rock pack.” he said, extending out his hand to shake theirs, but the three men were silent and just gave him a nod.
• Logan put his arm back to his side and was confused; Sheila interrupted, “Logan, don’t feel bad they made be shy, so we have to get going I have to show them where they are staying at.”
• “Ok, Sheila, catch you later,” Logan implies while walking off.
• While sitting in his father's office, Logan could not help but be in deep thought, as his father and Beta Mitchell were discussing pack business. His father noticed Logan's expression on his face; he asked, “Are you ok, Logan? You've been quiet since you got here, is there something troubling you?”
• I have just been thinking about these three wolves that came here three days ago, something weird about them, that I just can’t put my finger on its dad.” Logan responded.
• “What have you noticed?” Eugene asks.
• Logan sighed “Well, it’s only been a few of things that I notice, which is one they don’t speak to nobody, no one knows their names, and also every time I walk past their house, all three of them be outside, once they see me or others they hurry up and go in the house.”
• Eugene spoke, “Logan, it’s only been three days, so you can’t expect someone to open up right away.”
• “Your father is right Logan, in most cases, it’s hard for people to open up because we don’t know what they went through, and how long have they been out there roaming around,” Beta Mitchell included.
• “I guess you two are right; like you said dad never judges people on their past, so we have to be patient with them,” Logan responds.
• “Sounds like a good idea Logan,” Eugene said.
• “So, Mitchell, are you ready for your son's mating ceremony?” Eugene asked.
• “Yes, Alpha, but I can tell you that Julian is a nervous wreck,” Mitchell responds with a chuckle.
• Logan sighed “Well, it should be hard since they knew each other when they were
• little.”
• “You will think that Logan, men can still get nervous when finding their mates; in Julian's case, he probably thought never in a million years that the moon goddess will set him and Simone up to be mates,” Eugene stated.
• Logan and Mitchell nodded.
• Come on, you two we have more things to discuss during the ceremony; anyway, the women are busy setting up everything; let go get Julian and do some male bonding,” Mitchell said with a chuckle.
• “Good idea” Eugene and Logan agree.
• The mating ceremony was bliss; it was an outside setting, and it was easy for people to gather around and look for a place to be seated. The women put their hearts into creating the perfect ceremony; decorated chairs with white satin fabric with black roses. The aisle had a red carpet going down to the front with cherry blossom flowers making a path, and some candles lit up on each side made a trail from the back entrance to the front. They're at the front held a stage that had the podium in the middle where the Alpha stand. About ten feet away, two cherry blossom trees with beautiful white lights around them on both sides.
• The trees were Julian's idea; he wanted to show how true his love is to Simone. There, on the right side, stood Julian and Logan. Logan was Julian's best man, and on the left was Simone’s maid of honor, Tiffany. Once Eugene saw the door from his house was opening, he responded, “Let us all stand” Once everyone was standing started looking in that direction to see Simone and her father standing side by side in the archway. Simone was along with a beautiful baby blue dress with V-neckline with Swarovski crystals on the bottom of the dress. Her hair was in a neat bun with a few spiral curls hanging down with a lily flower on the right side of her hair.
• Her makeup was flawless with a light pink blush, and black eyeliner that brought the colors to her eyes. Her lips wore a shade of pink; she had diamond studs in her ears, and a three-stone diamond necklace; she had worn nice silver medium heels. Her father wore a simple black and white tux; as they began walking, the sounds of the violins were playing a soft, gentle melody. As they walked, she could not help seeing Julian looking nice in his lovely black and white tux, and the smile he was giving brought chills to her spine. Once they reach the front, Ulysses gives Simone a hand over to Julian, and he whispers these words in his ears “Take good care of my little girl.” Julian gives him a nod as they walk further to the front. At the same time, Ulysses went and stood where his mate, Julian’s parents, and Luna were.
• Alpha Eugene stated, “You made all be seated.” Everyone took their seats, and from there, Alpha Eugene began to speak. “Good afternoon everyone, we are gathering here today to let these two mates join to become one. There are not enough words to express these two young people; I knew them when they were babies. And I watched them grow up along with my son. For me to perform this mating ceremony for these two is an honor and prestige. Julian and Simone, do you promise to the moon goddess that you will never break your secretive bond as long as you both shall live on this earth?”
• They both look at each other and then back at the Alpha before saying, “We do.” “By the power of the moon goddess and your Alpha you two are now officially bonded as mates, Julian, you made not kiss your mate,” Eugene stated.
• Julian and Simone begin kissing, and everyone cheers and claps with joy. They both broke the kiss, and Simone spoke, “I love you, Julian.”
• “I love you too baby,” Julian said with a smile.
• The celebration was about to begin until suddenly a scream came from the crowd. That drew everybody, attention to where it came from; out of nowhere, three vicious wolves had appeared with bright blue eyes that let out loud growls that had everybody standing up and backing in the direction where Logan and his father were. Logan started looking around and saw more wolves appearing, which scared the children, and started crying.
• Logan looks over to his father and responds, “Dad, we have to do something; we are about to be under attack.”
• “I know Logan, and we have to try to get the women and children to safety,” His father states.
• Julian and Simone stood over Logan; Simone stated “You guys, I have a bad feeling about this.”
