Chapter 12

• It was true of what Alpha Joseph was saying about the RedMoon Pack. The pack is considered one of the best across the nation. The Red Moon Pack has 1,000 members strong, the pack is 4th generation, and the reputation speaks for itself by ranking number two in the pack society. The tournament was about to begin, so Joseph and Samuel took their seats in the front where their Lunas were. All the pack was standing in their groups, and they were about 8 feet apart when a big loud growl came out of nowhere, getting everybody's attention.
• The crowd was silent as a big grey wolf approached the center of the podium. The wolf-headed towards it; once there, the wolf had shifted into the human form stood a tall man who looked 6 feet tall, very muscular, with long salt and pepper hair, and brown eyes. The man stood there until he turned around and someone gave him some clothes to cover himself. Once he had his clothes on, he returned to face the crowd. “Greeting, everyone, I’m Emanuel Parris; I’m one of the elders. I want to welcome you all to the 10th Annual Wolf Pack Tournament. The other two elders and I created this tournament. As you all know, this tournament is to show which pack is the best. But most of all to learn skills from one another. The other elders and I believe in you all, so let the games begin” The crowd cheer with excitement.
• The tournament games were up and ready to go; 10 members were selected from each pack. From there, everybody was getting ready until they heard the male voice, “Okay everybody, the first game is the relay race; since most of you haven’t shifted yet, you all will be running in human form. “This is how it’s going to go. One person from each team will be running and try to capture the flag. Whoever pack catches the most flags will win,” Emanuel said. A member from each pack headed to the front and getting into the running position. “Alright on your mark, get set, go,” Emanuel shouted, shooting the gun in the air. And off they went.
