Chapter 21

• The next day Dawn woke up from the sun coming into her room; she sat up, stretching her arms out, and got out of bed; when she looked over to her nightstand and saw the bottle. She started to remember, so she got up quickly to get dressed and placed the bottle in the back of her blue jean pocket. She put on a red t-shirt with her black hoodie and black shoes and left the room, heading on down the stairs. Once downstairs, she walked towards the front, and there was where she saw her mother in the living room reading a book. “Hey mom, is dad around?” Dawn asked.
• She looks up from her book and lays her eyes on Dawn, and responds, “No Honey, him and Beta Mitchell gone out to take care of some pack business, is there some wrong?”
• “No, it’s nothing. I’m going out for a walk; I’ll be back later,” Dawn replied.
