Chapter 33

  • Back at the house, Logan was packing up as many things that he could; he must get away. Now that the house was halfway blown up, it is no longer a home; when Logan finishes packing, he reaches into his pocket and grabs the necklace that Dawn gave him, which still has some of her blood on it; he places it around his neck. Outside of the house, Logan buried Dawn in their front yard; with all the flowers was at, Logan knew that it was Dawn favorite spot of the home, she loves planting flowers. He felt that it was perfect to laid her there, he kneeled, and said to her “Rest now my love, we will be together again someday, I promise.” Logan rises and turns to the right side to see William looking down to his feet, and he sees some tears that escape William face. Logan begins to worry about William; how is this going to affect him? William so little made not understand what it is like to grieve.
  • But most importantly, the feeling of losing your mate, either way, Logan must find a way to be strong for William because of the promise he made to Dawn. “Come on buddy, we have to get going now,” Logan told William. William nod and they both turned and headed back where they came from.
