“Didn't you hear what I said? I told you to get lost!”
Olivia's cold voice pulled me back to my senses, and I wasn't really sure if I should laugh or cry at my predicament. While it was great that I had been rescued from that scumbag, I might actually end up in a worse fate in Olivia's hands.
“Bet you didn't think I'd be the one to save you, huh, Erica?” Olivia asked as she pulled up a chair and sat down elegantly in front of me.
They say evil women have the prettiest lips but say the nastiest things, and that statement seems to hold true in Olivia's case. She has a very beautiful face, but the cunning look in her eyes ruins everything.
“No, I didn't.” I glared coldly at her and paused for a moment before continuing, “Given how much we hate each other, is it really worth using so much of your resources just for me?”
Olivia said loudly with a frown, “Of course it is! Do you not see how Augustus has fallen head over heels for you? If I don't do something fast, I'll become the laughing stock of the entire city!”
