• As per our original plan, Colter drove me back home first before sending Augustus to Boyard Corporation. None of us spoke along the way. I was still reeling from the shock of finding out that Lydia had a secret affair with Hannah's father. Augustus, on the other hand, had his eyes closed, seemingly deep in thought. Colter didn't know what happened, but he could probably sense the gravity of the situation. Thus, he wisely kept silent in front of Augustus and focused on driving us to our respective destinations.
• Once back home, I took a short nap. Perhaps these past two days had been mentally exhausting for me, I actually drifted off into a deep and dreamless sleep that afternoon. The sky was already dark by the time I woke up. Feeling hungry, I washed up and put on a coat before going out to hunt for food.
