Chapter 72 Pending and a Chaos

• In the mountains, Jack was in shock, more confused than he had left. He debated whether to go back for Shanice or not. She was mad, that much he knew. But he had to find a way to calm Danica down or buy himself time. He thought if she saw Shanice in her mansion she would know he wanted a truce.
• But he was hit again with another block, Nikitia, it had bothered him when he was in the city. He thought about it the entire week he was at Danica's Mansion. Yes, he ordered her to stay in the mountains but it was uncharacteristic of her even if her mind was wiped. He expected her to follow him but when he got back he was shocked to find the reasons why. She had found her mate and to his shock it was Sebastian. At first, he was silent, he had to hear it from her mouth. 
• The last time he checked, Niki was Nolan's mate. He questioned her about him but she had no recollection and even when he explained the truth about who she was, she was not interested and did not like the idea of being a mate to a human. All she wanted was to be with Sebastian, live a simple life, and have two or three babies. She did not like the Nikitia that Jack explained to her, she sounded depressed, sad, and lonely.
