Chapter 27 Take Nolan

• Nolan understood and knew how a mate was rejected or marked. Even though he read the book when he was in doubt, he clearly remembered the rejection and marking process.  But then it clicked in his head, Danica was clever enough to cover it with a marriage contract. Even if he rejected her, he was bound by the contract to live with her for two years. He looked down but before Nikita got her answers, Sebastian stepped in.
• “Nolan I can't feel Danica's pulse!” Sebastian yelled out in hopes of distracting him. To his surprise, it worked and a very worried Nolan ignored Nikitia's questions and knelt over Danica. He placed his fingers on her neck and gave Sebastian a serious look, “Aint you a Werewolf with an enlightened sense of hearing?” Nolan asked.
• “I thought it stopped,” Sebastian lied which further infuriated Nikitia. She walked over but Sebastian stood up, to her surprise he asked her to take Nolan with her and leave.
