Chapter 28 Swept Away

• As soon as the Director opened the helicopter door, his nose was hit by the stench of blood that sent his bowels moving. His breath caught as he tried to reach the sight. He wanted to tear his eyes away but he couldn't, the gruesome sight was calling him to look.
• Lying all over the ground were decapitated heads, limbs, bodies with tree branches sticking out of them. Other bodies had necks and intestines hanging by a thread and brains everywhere. One of his field agents couldn't hold it in, within a splash, he vomited. He apologized but the crew was more focused on the gruesome sight in front of them. 
• This was not the first time they were stumbling upon a massacre, some of them were almost twenty years in service, and seeing dismembered bodies was part of their job description but what was in front of them was gruesome, it was what one would describe as an overkill.
