Chapter 49 Do not look into his eyes

• Seated on his bed and pondering on his next move, Nolan had no idea what to do next. It was almost getting dark but still, he just couldn't get the fact that Danica just rejected him out of his mind. He tried taking a bath in the hopes of forgetting about everything but still, she was on his mind. 
• Deep down in his heart, he wanted to know if she was okay. The one thing that was eating him up was the fact that he only stared at her when she poured her heart into him. It hit him hard that he just watched her run out of the house without stopping her or saying a word. 
• After thinking about it, he made up his mind and was about to leave when his apartment began shaking, which was followed by thunder and lightning then darkness. Out of nowhere something heavy dropped on him sending him hard on the floor
