Chapter 35 Priority Change

• Nikitia and Nolan vanished without a trace as Danica sat in her study room, pondering her plight. She transformed the entire city into a maze area in the hopes of finding her husband. It was as though they had disappeared into thin air. She checked and blocked every airport, port, bus station, and train station she could find, but she still came up empty. She was going nuts, unable to comprehend how Nikitia had managed to pull off such a perfect abduction.
• To make matters worse, Nikitia used chlorine to mask both her and Nolan's scents, and Nolan's scent began and ended in his hospital room. They didn't have much to go with. To add salt to the wound, the FBI seemed unconcerned about the kidnapping; according to Danica's reading, they were relieved that Nikitia had taken her husband and were hesitant to send a team after Nikitia and to her surprise they let her block every mode of transportation. While they sat back and drank coffee on Agent Brown's orders.
• She was alone with her pack in finding Nolan, and the clock was ticking. Nikitia only needed to mark Nolan as hers, and he would be hers forever. It turned her inside out just thinking about it.
