Our final day in Dubai felt like the sweetest ending to a long beautiful dream. Mateo woke me up with a big smile and said we had one more special day planned. We went to a giant water park first and I felt like the whole world turned into playtime the moment we stepped inside. There were twisting slides and lazy rivers and big wave pools that crashed like the real sea. I ran to the tallest slide and pulled Mateo with me.
“Let us try this one!” I said excitedly. We went down together screaming and laughing as the water rushed around us fast and cold.
