• The days in Santorini started to feel softer and slower like romance had quietly taken the place of all the adventure. Mateo surprised me one evening with dinner on a private terrace overlooking the sea. The table was set with candles and flowers and the food smelled amazing. The sun was starting to go down and the sky turned pink and orange making the blue water look like it was on fire. I sat across from him and could not stop looking at his face in the soft candlelight.
