Chapter 59 Bound Together

• I pulled Mateo up to his feet, pressing my body a little closer until I could feel the heat coming off his skin through his clothes. My fingers moved slowly up to his neck and I held on there feeling the strong pulse under them. The air in the room felt thick and full of wanting. My skin tingled everywhere we almost touched and I knew I needed more of him right then.
• Mateo looked down at me with dark eyes that burned with many feelings. His hand came up and rested on my waist pulling me even tighter against him. The touch was gentle at first but it sent warm waves through me. I stepped even nearer until my chest pressed against his. No words came out of my mouth yet but my body told him what I needed. I tilted my head up and met his gaze without blinking. The quiet room made every small sound louder like our breathing and the way my dress brushed against his leg. I wanted to feel all of him and make sure he understood that he belonged to me completely now.
