Chapter 39: Red Devil on High Heels

• That day was Ann's first day in the Marketing division, where Merry Smith served as Chief Marketing Officer. Ann purposely wore bright red clothes to attract attention. She wore bright red high heels and applied bright red lipstick. Since Ann had already expected Merry Smith to call her the devil woman, she might as well prepare herself.
• Jace had asked her to go into the Marketing division and get rid of Merry Smith. But Ann was sure the reason Jace asked her to do that wasn't just because she was bothering him. Instead, there was another reason that Jace hadn't told Ann. She could tell just by watching Jace's movements.
