Chapter 30: Suspicious

• The next day, at Hans Graham's request, Ann came back to his house. This time she came accompanied by several bodyguards and Jace. Hans Graham had already prepared Ann's favorite breakfast menu when she arrived. His face contorted when he saw Jace came to accompany Ann.
• "Good morning, Ann. I didn't expect to see J. Carter come with you. I have prepared your favorite breakfast. Let's eat first," said Hans Graham as he took Ann's hand and kissed the back of her hand. He glanced sharply at Jace, who was also looking at him with a cold, narrowed gaze.
• Ann smiled politely as she slowly withdrew her hand in discomfort.
