Chapter 16: Office Tour

• The atmosphere at lunch was nicer and relaxed after Jace started throwing some jokes. Ann ate elegantly beside him, occasionally chiming in at Jace's jokes. Some of the higher-ups who were sitting near Ann were trying to have a conversation and be polite.
• After lunch, as planned, Cecilia took Ann to look around the several floors where the employees worked and briefly introduced her to each team. Some of the higher-ups who had met with Ann before helped and greeted her in a friendly manner. In addition, they provided brief information about each other's work.
• Mr. Steve Edison welcomed Ann with open arms on his work floor. He was the Chief Financial Officer. From his demeanor, Mr. Edison was a patient person and didn't talk much. He was busy working and focused on work. However, it was clear that he was a friendly leader and helped his team provide the solutions they needed. The atmosphere on the floor led by Steve Edison looked very friendly and mutually supportive.
