• "Rhea, we need to talk. Privately." Micah's tone was low, insistent, as he dragged her into the shadows of a quiet alcove off the Lunaris Academy gardens, away from the normal crowds of students.
• "Micah? What's going on? You look like you've seen a ghost." Rhea also frowned, feeling the nervous energy emanating from him.
• "Bad. I've met the Alphas. Our Alphas." He ran his hand through his hair, looking around as though for spies. "They're changing, Rhea. I can see it. Ash is. less of a stone wall. Zane's sense of humor is less of a shield. Kai's actually displaying something like concern, and Blaze. he's still a brute, but he's our brute now. He actually listens to you."
