Chapter 49 Hurt My Woman?

  • He cupped my face in his hands, “Where do you hurt?”
  • “Mister, easy does it, this is a human head in hour hands, not a melon.” Every time he moved my head, I felt a dull pain and dizziness spreading to the rest of my body from my wound.”
  • He rested my head against his chest, then carefully parted my hair to show the the patch where the doctor shaved off.
  • I didn’t know how big the wound is, but I knew that the doctor definitely stitched more than just a few stitches as he had claimed.
  • He looked at it for a long time. I really didn’t know what was there to look at, unless the doctor got creative and stitched a pattern onto it. After some time, he bent down and picked me up in his arms.
  • “You got it wrong. I hurt my head, not my legs.”
