Chapter 206 Family Dinner

  • That makeover artist lady began her work on me at 3 o’clock in the afternoon, and it wasn’t until well after 5 o’clock that she finally set her tools down with a satisfying nod while handing me a mirror.
  • I peered at the mirror. I remember specifically telling her that I only want a light touch, but what looked back at me at the other side of the mirror was a face that looked less like a normal human being and more like a ghost in bad horror movies.
  • So I went straight to the restroom and gave my face a good wash and wiped off all those thick and vivid colors, much to the horror of the makeover lady.
  • “What do you think you’re doing!? Mr. Sang will be here to pick you up at 6 o’clock sharp!”
  • “Who’s the one that mistook my makeup with a ghost’s? 10 minutes. light foundation with a faint blush. Anything more, prepare to walk.”
  • Reluctantly the makeover lady began her work again, and after 10 more minutes I pulled her hands away and checked the mirror. Good, at least now I almost looked like a human.
