I couldn’t care less about how Sheng Yanyan was going to cry to Sang Qi and milk every last drop of pity and sympathy from him.
I’ll at least give her that, since, that was the only thing she has left.
After she was transferred from the operation room to an observation ward, I didn’t go with them. Instead, I wandered around the hospital aimlessly without too much though, thinking that it’d pass some time as I waited for Sang Qi.
I came to regret that decision very shortly afterwards.
Somehow, my wandering has taken me to the maternity wards.
Sitting in a cue outside the wards was a mother with a little baby boy in her arms, who kept smiling at me. Before long, I found myself eyes drawn to him and I kept smiling at him too.
