Chapter 9 God, I Kiss Him Back

• Seren’s POV
• Karlee, Kevin and I stayed with each other for the rest of the party and Kevin went back to his usual quiet self, only nodding and smiling and talking when he absolutely had too. But he kept glancing at me, as if he were giving me a silent message that we needed to continue our conversation another time.
• I had a lot of fun with Karlee. I learnt a lot about her tonight and I think it’s safe to say we’re like sisters now. She’s a good person.
