Chapter 13 We Prepare For War

• Kael’s POV
• Seren cooled down eventually. Her skin is still unnaturally red and she’s unconscious right now but she’ll be fine. She just needs a lot of rest and she needs to get food into her system once she wakes. Her mother was reluctant to leave her side but she needed to follow my dad and I into the interrogation room.
• Apparently the first man I attacked didn’t die. I just messed him so bad with my claws that he passed out. He’s tied up in the middle of the room as we all walk in. So now we can question him and ask him who sent him and why the hell he targeted Seren.
