• "Cool. We're out of beer. Buy some on your way home"
• "I'm not your wife" TC grumbled hanging up but still remembered to buy the beer because he'd asked Trent for a favor. Any other day he would have ignored him. The guy always had demands whenever he called but the problem was TC couldn't ignore him because sometimes he needed him to dig up important information. Not that he'd disobey orders. They were a team and worked well together because they had a tacit understanding. But teams weren't always permanent. If Trent felt like it, he could request another agent to work with. And anyone would take him because, despite everything, he was excellent at his job.
