• While Quinton was talking with his Beta, Sapphire emerged from the room in a robe and headed to Sara’s quarters, entering without bothering to ask for permission. Sara was lying down and didn’t move when Sapphire walked in.
• “You think you’re so important, don’t you? Guess who warms the Alpha’s bed every night? That’s me. Even if you’re ever called Luna, I’ll still be the one he calls for,” Sapphire said, flashing a mocking smile.
