• Brian kept holding her chin, close enough to make it hard for Stella to focus on her response or what she truly wanted. The sensation of his touch radiated through her body, and she knew she needed distance to think clearly. Stella stepped back, breaking the contact. Unsure of how to answer, she asked another question instead.
