Chapter 22 Morning Fright

• That night, Philip and Rachel shared the same bed, and once again, their mate bond took over, leading them to make love again.
• The next morning, Philip woke early, as was his habit. He typically rose at dawn to run in the forest, but given his current circumstances, he knew it wasn’t an option. He was aware this would put Zeus, his loyal wolf, in a foul mood, as the animal loved racing through the woods.
• Philip headed to the kitchen but heard noises coming from Rachel’s clinic. Curious, he decided to investigate, despite wearing only a towel, having just showered. Upon entering the clinic, he realized the sounds were coming from deeper inside and went to check. There, he found a man with his back turned, rummaging through some items.
