Chapter 26 Suspicious Attack

• Philip locked eyes with the dog, radiating his Alpha presence. Despite his latent authority, the rabid dog didn’t falter and lunged at him. Rachel, standing nearby, stepped back, covering her mouth in shock as the dog launched itself at Philip.
• Though Philip seemed to have some control over dogs, as Rachel had witnessed in the clinic, this was a fierce and unpredictable opponent. Philip managed to catch the dog mid-air, but couldn’t prevent it from sinking its teeth into his arm, heightening Rachel’s panic.
• Zeus, partially in control, was deeply offended by the dog’s audacity.
