Chapter 27 Vincent's Hurt

• Eloise’s heart raced as she knelt beside Vincent, her hands trembling as she tried to stop the bleeding. Her mind was spinning—this wasn’t something she was prepared for. Seeing Vincent, the man who always seemed so invincible, lying unconscious and bleeding on the floor sent a wave of panic through her.
• She fumbled for her phone, quickly dialing the number Vincent had given her for emergencies. The call was answered almost immediately.
• “Vincent’s hurt!” she blurted out, her voice shaking. “He’s bleeding, and I—he needs help! Now!”
