Chapter 11 Eloise

• Eloise gazed up at the tall, handsome man in front of her, her eyes wide with admiration. He looked like one of those princes she'd seen on TV, the kind that saved the day and made everything better. She couldn't tear her eyes away from him, captivated by his presence.
• "You know, your mama will be mad at you, Princessa," Vincent said softly, calling her by the name she'd asked him to use. Her cheeks flushed a deep red, the color spreading as she clung to his hand.
• "No... she wouldn't be," Eloise replied, her voice tinged with the innocence of a child who believed everything would always be okay. She squeezed his hand a little tighter, not wanting to let go.
