Chapter 18 Please, Vincent Don't Leave Me
- Eloise's laughter echoed through the grand foyer as she stumbled through the front door of the mansion at seven o'clock in the evening. She swayed, the aroma of alcohol clinging to her, her mind foggy from the previous night's excess. Although she had not intended to drink so much, she had needed something to decompress after the stress of the previous few days. As she stepped inside, she felt free, almost unstoppable.
- Though her vision was a little fuzzy, she was able to see Vincent sitting in the living room, his tense posture suggesting he had been waiting for her. She walked up to him, her hips swinging more than usual, and a slow, mischievous smile appeared on her face.
- "Well, well, if it is not Mr. Serious," she flirtatiously slurred playfully. She extended her hand and ran a finger down his chest, feeling a thrill run through her from the heat of his body. “What are you doing here, Vincent? Waiting for me?”
