• "How sure are you that she is pregnant?" I asked Cindy, feeling like a fool. So, all this while she had been pregnant and I was stupid not to notice! She didn't look pregnant. Was it because her stomach wasn't showing?
• "Sir, I was once pregnant with Daiz," Cindy said, trying to assure me that she was saying nothing but the truth. "She has been to the bathroom frequently since she arrived and her breast is.." she tried to continue but I had caught her shut.
• Why didn't she tell me? I was going to wait for her to tell me herself but she wasn't saying anything which was making me bitter and furious. I had almost told her everything when she held her tummy in the car, I had expected her to tell me but she was still keeping shut.
