Chapter 66 He Needs You

• Everything happened in a blur. One moment, I’d been frozen to my feet, staring at vicious beast and the next thing, that beast was charging towards me.
• My legs moved before my brain could process the situation, I ran as fast as I could as kael chased after me, his thunderous footsteps echoing behind me. My heart went into overdrive I raced up the stairs. Kael’s roars grew closer and before I barely made it out of the dungeon, his claws slashed my ankle.
• A cry of agony escaped my lips but I didn’t stop running. I ran down the hallway, my breaths ragged as my feet hit the tiles. Kael was gaining on me… I could feel his breath against my neck.
