• After driving up towards the wood, Ronan left me behind.
• As I made my way into the woods, everything grew darker and more silent tonight than it had been before. I felt a bit lonely. I had expected that Ronan would walk with me—that would have made me feel a lot better. The trees stood tall like giants, their branches intertwining overhead, blocking the moonlight.
