• The events of last night bothered me. Aria had seen me in my most vulnerable state. How she had found her way to the dungeon, I had no idea.
• Ronan told me about the memory-wiping tonic he had given her, but I wasn’t too confident about I needed to see her, and ensure it was truly erased from her mind. I told myself it was a matter of control, of maintaining order, but deep down, I knew it was something more. I could have killed her, and that bothered me.
