• After turning, tossing, and thinking all night, I decided I wouldn't let the memory of Kael and Vanessa get to me. I got prepared and ready for the day’s training.
• When I arrived at the training grounds, I was paired with a guy named Jaxon for the morning sparring session. He was a great fighter and wasn’t as intimidating and stuck up like the men I’d sparred with. He was more focused on testing my abilities than crushing me to feed his ego.
