• The day the trials were set to begin finally arrived. It was a day filled with a strange mix of anticipation, excitement and a lingering fear of the unknown. I woke up early, my body buzzing with a nervous energy that I tried so much to suppress.
• Amara, my ever supportive friend, came to my room to help me prepare. I don’t know what I would do without her. She bustled around, gathering everything i would need. Her presence was a comforting distraction from the thoughts in my mind.
