Chapter 28 Bound By Fate

  • That night, sleep offered no relief from the thoughts inside my head. It was a restless, feverish sleep filled with split images and unsettling feelings. I found myself trapped in the same nightmare over and over again.
  • A shadow woved its way into my mind, its ominous crimson-red eyes similar to the one in my visions burning into mine. It’s shadow form shifted into something primal and monstrous, and then it let out a roar. I waited for the fear to creep into me but it never came. All I felt was the beast’s pain, a raw and pure agony that resonated within my own body, as if we were connected by some invisible thread. The pain was excruciating as it surged through me like hot lava. My body convulsing from the intensity of it. It was unbearable. I wanted to die.
  • Suddenly the scene shifted and I was in the woods. Darkness surrounded the environment, no moon in sight. Then I felt like something in my arms. I looked down and saw a baby, its face pale and innocent, its eyes closed as it slept peacefully.
