  • “I thought you were coming back tomorrow,” Daramir blurted out as soon as Ril’m faced him, releasing the tied flaps.
  • “Sorry, I came back earlier but didn’t inform you, My Lord.”
  • “Did… you… find someone inside?” His voice lowered, and he darted his gaze around them. There was no one else, but him and her. Usually, the other generals were not as “fussy” as her, so there were no guards standing in front of their tents. She only needed these guards, so that no one could enter her tent while she was inside, and to avoid someone from discovering her accidentally, since her loyal guards would block them if necessary, including the Commander-in-Chief himself.
