Chapter 19

• Ril’m coughed and suppressed a groan.
• Sui was about to approach her, but he stepped back as quickly when the assassin advanced, brandishing his long sword at him.
• She cussed in her head. Sui was now almost cornered, dodging the attacks as quickly as he could. The saber still in her hand, she flung it in the assassin’s direction since the latter kept advancing to harm Sui. She hit the man in the back just as the sword nicked Sui’s arm. He pushed the dead assassin that leaned against him before drawing his last breath.
