• [Trent’s POV]
• “As you see, our company is your best bet for expansion. We've got a number of clients and business partners across the world who you can take your pick to work with. We are also the most promising business on the East Coast.”
• Alton's droning voice fades in and out as I keep my eyes on Mr. Vincent's face, trying to determine if he is going to agree to our proposal or not. To say that I was actually nervous was an understatement, given how hard not only I but also Alton and the rest of my team worked to get to this point. There was a lot riding on this deal, and if we lost it, then all my plans and hard work would be for nothing.
