• I hang up my phone and look toward the man who is tied to a chair with his head slowly dripping blood from the most recent injury that I’ve caused. So far, no amount of torture has managed to get the bastard to speak, and I was already in a pretty bad mood. However, now I was absolutely livid due to Gabby’s running right back to her first love.
• I knew that I should have convinced her to come with me so that I could keep an eye out, but I was too fucking complacent since I actually managed to get her to drop that ridiculous rule of hers. But this didn’t mean that I was just going to give up. No. I wanted Gabby, and when I wanted something, I would get it.
